Throughout my career, I’ve managed websites, social platforms and digital strategy for philanthropic, newspaper, radio and television organizations. I can oversee all parts of a digital campaign from site management and content creation to social strategy and analytics.
As part of the digital team in Vulcan Inc.’s Corporate Communications department, I contributed to campaign strategy and content creation for its internal and external platforms. I also managed digital strategy and social media for Vulcan Productions, the documentary production arm of Vulcan Inc. I was responsible for coming up with the social strategy for film announcements and festival screenings and aided with the digital strategy around the impact side of the films. I also worked with the team to create video and other social content in support of the films.
Highlights include:
“GHOST FLEET” FILM & IMPACT CAMPAIGN: Do you know where your seafood comes from? For the Vulcan Productions documentary Ghost Fleet, I helped manage the social media around film screenings, it’s TVOD availability and supported digital strategy for the film’s impact campaign to raise awareness around the connection between illegal fishing, seafood demand around the world and human trafficking at sea. I served as the team’s digital strategist, helped create and curate social content, coordinated with partners in the space and provided campaign metrics and analysis.
VULCAN INC.’S CORAL CAMPAIGN: For Vulcan Inc., coral reef health is the foundation of ocean health. That’s why Vulcan invested in science-based solutions and scientists who are working to help corals adapt to climate change. I oversaw Vulcan’s coral digital campaign, which highlighted the innovative work of researchers and scientists around the world. The campaign included editorial articles, creative content creation and social media strategy.
DISCOVERY FAMILY CHANNEL & MY LITTLE PONY: As a digital producer for the Discovery Family Channel, I was responsible for all social media management and content production. I managed the channel’s relationship with Hasbro’s digital team and coordinated with them on social strategy and content creation around My Little Pony, the most popular show on the channel.
DESTINATION AMERICA: During my time at Discovery Communications, I also managed digital and social strategy for the Destination America network. I coordinated with the production teams to capture and create digital content, managed the website and provided metrics and analysis for the network’s General Manager, production, marketing and communications teams.
